first off, we received transfer calls and soeur eyre and soeur tenney i think are officially over. unless president decides to put us together again haha but otherwise, it was a good 4 transfers all in all. oh man. this girl! words cannot reallly even describe our relationship!!! we have gotten reeeeeally close these past 6 months together!!! she knows me better than anyone else right now id say!! but really she has just taught me so much! she taught me how to be a missionary and now she taught me how to be a leader. she is so wonderful!! I LOVE SOEUR EYRE WITH ALL MY HEART!!! im sad.
but also HAPPY!!!! because my new companion is soeur riley who is a girl i came to the mission with and we ended up staying the night together in barbados together! haha she was called french speaking but because i sped up my mission process i messed her up and made her go french speaking. woopsies!! but now shes my companion so all is well! we will be sister training leaders together just for the sisters in st martin so we'll be going to st martin together next transfer. IM SO EXCITED!! itll be so awesome! new companion! new goals! new ways to see some real growth!! thats what ive been obsessed with these days :)
but this week i went to st martin!!!! it was so fun! we were there thursday morning to friday morning then headed back. SO AWESOME!! the sisters there totally reminded both me and sister eyre of ourselves back when we started, they were both pretty new missionaries. i remember being in one of their spots literally and just thinking, wow ive got so much to learn!! but here i was! sharing the wisdom!! so that was wonderful! the church there is AWESOME!! and it was so cool to preach in englsih!! i loved it so much! it was like making friends!! then i just came back and applied it to where i live! because french really isnt all that too hard for me!!
this week we had a house meeting with the Occoloiers, a wonderful amazing member family in our area. one of our recent converts and an investigator was there and it was AWESOME!! soeur occolier loved it she talked about it in relief society because soeur eyre and i had to surpirse teach that, but anyways she raised her hand, soeur occolier and said 'im so grateful for these missionaries parents who raised these girls just so excited to share the gospel!!' so momma! thats from soeur occolier! ill attach a picture! me and souer eyre wer both just crying. hahaha it was awesome. i loved martinique so much!! im so glad im staying! this place is my home! it is the best! oh ya soeur eyre is going to grenada! english speaking! shes freaking out haha but anyways!!!!
so this week :) rose :) so she came to church last week and shes a very sick and very busy lady but we went by saturday night and although her doctor told her she couldnt speak she totally talked to us hahaha so shes talking to us and shes like 'so at church, when they annouced there would be a baptism, the Holy Ghost told me I need to be baptized so I told myself I'd ask the missionaries when the next baptism was... so... when's the next baptism?' haha! so we told her she could be baptized the 31! woo woo!! she is so converted she loves the book of mormon and is already sharing the gospel with her neighbors! he came by and she said' hey me and these girls are gonna come over and give you a book of mormon ok!?' shes awesome! i love her!!
so ive just been obsessed with real growth lately, how i can really help build God's kingdom on Earth. so i hope soeur riley is ready because soeur tenney with the car is ready to build the church on all of the south of martinique! wohoo!!
I love this church i know its true. i love teaching others gospel doctrines i learn the morning of and have such a strong testimony. And I love Jesus!!
