Hi Meme,
I remember when the siblings were on missions, mondays were the best.. sorry thats me now!! Thanks for that quote. I love that you think I'm that happy, but I guess I am! haha sometimes it is hard, but whenever I get out of the house, talking to people and serving and teaching others, I just love my life! I'm still adjusting to the shack life but its good. My companion is super clean and its rubbing off on me! I'm a clean freak now! haha!!**
So this week we did exchanges with our sister training leader and Sister dorsan left me and I was afraid she'd come back and not like Goyave, but then she came back and LOVED goyave, and loved me even more. She said, I'm a good trainer and she loves me so much :) that made me feel good! This week I've been just trying to feel guided. Trying to let the Lord lead, and He has! I find that when we plan in the night with the Spirit where to go, Heavenly Father puts people in our path that our ready to hear our message!
Last night, it was mothers day here so everyone was with ther moms. So we were contacting and we found these nice houses!! with rich french people, and french people are SO RUDE!! People were laughing at us and saying religion is not my thing! oh man how i was grateful i was not in france! haha but then I said a little prayer, "Heavenly Father I know we're here for a reason, please give us one person over here who is ready for the gospel' and we had finished to the end of the street and I thought this man was the one but he wasnt! So, on our way back, we pass this house with a dog that scared Sister dorsan before, she hates dogs, but a man was outside and we start talking to him,and he said 'ya of course come back!!' Anyways, moral of the story, its always the last house! haha I love that! I knew we wouldn't leave that rich area empty handed! Theres a classic misison story for ya!
Also, we've got this awesome investigator named Christine who was at church yesterday, she is one of those people who is just prepared. Sister Dorsan and I love her so much! She has read so much of the Book of Mormon already and we met her just a little over a week ago! The Lord always prepares people for you!
Also, we got to teach this 20 year Patricia in Englsih and that was just amazing. The Spirit was so strong and she said she could prepare to be baptized on the first lesson! oh my gosh! I love this work so much!
This week, I learned that we need to have patience. Its a Christlike attribute! Patience for things to come in our life, patience for our life in the Celestial kingdom! I just really am trying to master the art of being Patient. Also, whoever is readin this should make sure they read ch 6 in Preach My Gospel, changed my life, Im reading it again and again and again haha!!
Mommy, I love you so much! Life in Goyave is so good! Its hard to send pictures in this internet place but I'll try. Thanks for being such a good example to me i love you!!
